Last monday, my school was colourful. Why? because all of students and teachers wore Batik. No, we didn't celebrate National Batik Days, but we celebrated "Sumpah Pemuda". You guys already know about "Sumpah Pemuda", right? Since on elementary we already learned about that
"Sumpah Pemuda" celebrated every 28 October. It was declaration by young Indonesian nationalist. They proclamated three ideas, one motherland, one nation and one language. To celebrated that, my school issued a policy to wore batik and skirt or pants with dark colour.
Because that was monday, so there was a ceremony, the longest ceremony, "Pembina upacara" gave advices and read speech from cabinet minister. Huft. Udah gitu panas banget. Matahari-nya lagi gagah-gagahan menarik perhatian awan mungkin, yagitudeh kalo lelaki mencari perhatian wanita. yaginideh kalo sok tau dan sok ngasih label-jenis-kelamin ke matahari. Udah biarin aja.
